BATTERINK, Lefert (Leo) - Peacefully, after a ’life of grace and blessings’, at Shalom Manor in Grimsby on January 16, 2009. Beloved husband for 61 1/2 years of Jentina Fluit (Tena). Dear father of Mary & Ed Faber, Annette Westra, Len & Nienke Batterink, and Clarence & Jeri Batterink. Cherished grandfather of twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation on Monday, January 19, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 61 Mohawk Rd. W. in Hamilton, ON. Family interment followed by a memorial service at the church at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Memorial donations may be made to Shalom Manor or Hamilton District Christian High School. Arrangements entrusted to the M.A. CLARK & SONS FUNERAL HOME. |
